Up to €75 000 of support is available. The deadline for applications for the Cassini Business Accelerator is 30. September.
Cassini Business Accelerator is Europe’s largest accelerator for space start-ups and growth companies. It offers innovative companies the opportunity to develop their business and refine their ideas. For companies selected for the programme, a grant of up to €75,000 is available to companies that successfully complete the six-month programme.
In particular, the programme is open to start-up and growth companies working in different areas of the space sector, such as satellite technology, space exploration, data analytics and other space-related innovations. The Cassini Business Accelerator will support participants in developing a business strategy, marketing and accessing funding opportunities. The programme also provides expert mentoring and access to extensive networks, opening up new opportunities and partnerships.
The first round of funding will be open to 20 European companies. The Cassini Business Accelerator has previously provided over €4.5 million in funding.
Jari Ahola, a finance expert at Business Tampere, sees the space programme as an opportunity if companies dare to think broadly about the potential uses of their own services or products.
“There are certainly products and services emerging in Finland that are suitable for space projects, and therefore also for this opportunity. So why not also from Pirkanmaa?” asks Jari Ahola.
