The EU Office monitors and advances the interests of the Pirkanmaa region in EU decision-making and policy preparation.
The EU Office identifies and develops a strategic project portfolios for selected sectors (e.g., security, smart city environments, health, AI and semiconductors, and industry).
Representatives of the Office seek out and play an active role in key networks.
It also engages stakeholders, especially businesses, to participate in EU funding.
The office increases the volume of EU program funding (including Horizon, Digital Europe, Interreg, EDF, CEF) for the Pirkanmaa region.
Proactively influences upcoming EU programs and regulations in alignment with the goals of our partners.
The Tampere Region EU Office raises awareness of the Tampere Region and Pirkanmaa.
It provides up-to-date and proactive information and communicates it to partners.
Serves as a contact point in Brussels for the Tampere city region and Pirkanmaa’s business community.
