Cassini Business Accelerator<\/a> is Europe’s largest accelerator for space start-ups and growth companies.\nIt offers innovative companies the opportunity to develop their business and refine their ideas.\nFor companies selected for the programme, a grant of up to \u20ac75,000 is available to companies that successfully complete the six-month programme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In particular, the programme is open to start-up and growth companies working in different areas of the space sector, such as satellite technology, space exploration, data analytics and other space-related innovations.\nThe Cassini Business Accelerator will support participants in developing a business strategy, marketing and accessing funding opportunities.\nThe programme also provides expert mentoring and access to extensive networks, opening up new opportunities and partnerships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Machine automation and robotics companies may have products that are suitable for space applications. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The first round of funding will be open to 20 European companies.\nThe Cassini Business Accelerator has previously provided over \u20ac4.5 million in funding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jari Ahola, a finance expert at Business Tampere, sees the space programme as an opportunity if companies dare to think broadly about the potential uses of their own services or products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“There are certainly products and services emerging in Finland that are suitable for space projects, and therefore also for this opportunity.\nSo why not also from Pirkanmaa?” <\/em> asks Jari Ahola. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
